|   Office   |   Doctor   |  Staff  | INTERPLAST, Inc. was founded in 1969 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1973 through which volunteer surgeons, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support personnel work in partnership with developing nations to support the progression and growth of high quality reconstructive surgery programs for children and adults with birth defects, burns, and other crippling deformities.

In the spirit of dissolving economic and educational borders between Mexico and the United States, and to recognize the technological and surgical advancements of the city of Mexicali, Interplast USA wishes to facilitate the first cooperative cleft palate panel between the affiliates and faculty of Stanford University and the Mexicali General Hospital, with the assistance of the Mexicali Rotary Club. In this manner, we hope to encourage the most advanced treatment and comprehensive care for children in Northern Mexico born with cleft facial deformities.
